FINANCE CONTROLLER

Our company produces and services crane simulation for the training of crane operators around the world. We produce and service immersive training simulators currently being used by the US Navy, offering opportunities for crews in handling critical situations in a highly realistic setting.  We are currently seeking to add to our team a Finance Controller. Ensure accurate financial reporting and implementation of risk controls

 Principal Responsibilities

1.  Ensures Board’s financial policies are being followed.

2.  Ensure accurate P&L accounts.

3.  Oversee financial transactions.

4.  Prepare or direct the preparation of required financial reporting forms.

5.  Monitor and manage cash-flow.

6.  Prepare and submit books to auditors for preparation of financial statement  and/or performance of an audit.

7.  Drive and assist in the preparation of the budget.

8.  Monitor budget.

9.  Drive and assist in the preparation of financial forecasts

10.  Maintain or direct maintenance of all bank accounts.

11.  Review, monitor and implement contracts.

12.  Ensure that contractual terms are within the company’s policies and that the company is meeting contractual obligations.

13.  Control project/program sales calculations and project calculations.

14.  Reports the company’s risk level, e.g. in contracts.

15.  Establishes financial instruments as bank guarantees and letter of credits according to the company’s policies.Relationships

Internal

1.  Frequently reporting to the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer.

2.  Frequently reporting to Finance Manager, Corporate Office, Simulation & Training.

3.  Follow up with Project Managers and Engineer on specific programs/projects.

 

External

1.  Contact with auditors
