FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

 

West Houston Industrial company has a Full Charge Bookkeeper position available. Must have at least 5 years of recent bookkeeper experience.

 

Must have excellent organizational and supervisory skills

 

Strong analytical skills, profits and loses statements and

AS400 experience A+

 

Manage monthly financial statement close process including preparation and review of reconciliations, journal entries, supporting schedules and financial statements.

Monthly P&L analysis including ad-hoc, trend and variance analysis

Assist in budget preparation, review and analysis

Special projects as request

 

Skills/ Requirements solid Technical accounting skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong computer skills, demonstrated ability to use both ERP systems and Microsoft Office applicants to improve operations

Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to explain financial issues to non-financial associates.

 

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

5 years of corporate accounting experience

Previous experience with ERP systems (i s, AS400)

Previous experience with a reporting tool (i e, Cognos Impromtu, Cognos Finance, etc)
