Finance- Business Intelligence Analyst
Experience: Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or Information Technology related field of study is required Experience: Minimum of five (5) years overall experience in an information technology support role for Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence projects. Strong data gathering, project scooping, data modeling, construction and deployment, as well as analytical and leadership skills are required. Minimum of three (3) years work experience in finance with an in depth understanding of financial systems, assisting with Business Intelligence reporting solutions implementations, upgrades and maintenance activities concurrently is required.Minimum of one (1) year work experience with SQL using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle. Training: Minimum of five (5) years overall experience in an information technology support role for Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence projects. Licensure/ Certification: CBIP, MCITP or other Business Intelligence certification preferred. As a condition of employment, there must be evidence of progress towards attaining certification, if not already certified. Description: In this position the Financial Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the analysis, development, maintenance and support of complex reporting solutions for our financial applications. This person will provide leadership support by developing business benchmarks, analyzing operating and financial trends and developing new reports and reporting tools. This position will work to improve financial system strategies through the development and maintenance support of financial information in the data warehouse. Primary duties of this position are: to understand business and financial issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions to evaluate, design, test, implement, support and maintain integrated and interfaced enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions to provide outcome reporting, create quality surveys, dashboards and reports using desktop applications such as: Microsoft Analysis Services, Crystal Reports, Excel, and other SQL based OLAP/ROLAP/MOLAP reporting tools.A solid knowledge of relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQLServer and Oracle are required along with strong SQL skills.
