Finance Director

The City of Gainesville is seeking an experienced Finance manager who desires to be a part of a well-respected organization. The successful candidate will be challenged in this multi-functional department with areas of responsibility including budget, treasury, debt, accounting and other assigned support services. He or she will, under the guidance of the CFO, work with our management team to provide excellent service to internal and external customers of our five utility system. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration, accounting, or public finance, and five years progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting and financial management plus two years supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
