Finance Director

Nurses in Partnership (www.nipinc.com) based in Agoura Hills, CA is currently seeking a  qualified Finance Director to head up its Accounts department, currently comprising  of a Controller plus 3 others. The Company has just completed its first acquisition and Executive management are currently negotiating deals with other potential bolt-on acquisitions.

1.  The successful candidate will have the capability of choosing and implementing a new Financial software package. Will approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

2.  Will coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

3.  Includes strategic financial planning, annual budgeting function, and regular monitoring of financial variances. Each fiscal year we will develop new financial forecasts, prepare operating and capital budgets to implement those strategic financial plans, and undertake financial corrective actions as performance requires. 

4.  Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of Staffing and or Service based Companies an advantage. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings. A degree  in Finance or Accounting, eight years  minimum  experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, and preferably a CPA. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
