- Working closely with other professionals and managers to promptly resolve client issues A Finance Operations professional works under general supervision of the Director while completing assigned projects and maintaining the appropriate level of utilization. The professional is accountable for performing work at Jefferson Wells’ clients in one or all of the following areas:
- Financial Process Improvement
- Spreadsheet Remediation & Control Services
- Account Reconciliation Services
- Cash Flow Optimization
- Policy and Procedure Development
- Business Performance Management
- Sarbanes-Oxley Documentation
- Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance required
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
CPA preferred
Minimum of five (5) years experience in the general areas of accounting services including a mix of public accounting (Big 4), consulting and industry experience (i.e. Controller, Accounting Manager) required
Broad understanding of processes and activities that occur within the accounting and finance function of public and private companies
Deep understanding of one or more accounting functions (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Reporting etc)
Experience with preparation and analysis of financial statements and consolidated financial results
Strong familiarity with SEC regulations and FASB pronouncements preferred
Experience working in a professional services environment preferred
Analytic ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions
Strong communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel
