FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Job Duties
Essential -
• Designing and implementing business process improvements to expand profitability and efficiencies
• Assisting in the month-end financial close activities
• Assisting in the preparation and review of all operating budgets and projections
• Being the financial liaison between division and corporate office
• Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the division
• Managing, leading and developing the divisional payroll and housing teams
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements
Skills:
Essential -
• An ability to understand and interpret financial data
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must be both detail oriented and big picture oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to provide strategic financial recommendations to the division President
• Strong ethical behavior
• A personality that is hands-on, direct and growth focused
• Leadership skills that motivate and inspire in a performance-driven culture
• Self-motivated, pro-active, decisive and entrepreneurial
• The ability to establish good working relationships with divisional and corporate staff
• Willingness to partner with the corporate finance team and senior management team in meeting all challenges of the organization


Experience & Education:
Essential-
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting/finance
• A minimum of 4 years of financial accounting experience

Non-essential -
• Knowledge of staffing industry

• Maintain proprietary and confidential financial information
• Ability to understand and interpret financial data
• Ability to manage time effectively and execute work goals independently
