Financial Accountant

With some 200 offices across 50 countries, this company offers real estate solutions for corporations and financial institutions around the globe. In addition to property management and brokerage services, they provide research and analysis on markets worldwide, portfolio optimization, supply chain management, and owner and investor services.

 

  ·       Yardi, CTI and/or MRI (or similar Property Management software) experience

·         Oversee/coordinate/analyze all cash receipts/cash disbursements for assigned portfolio

·         Bank Reconciliations

·         Tenant Security Deposit Reconciliations

·         Accrual preparation/entry

·         Analyze general ledger activity for accuracy

·         Monthly Financial Statement Preparation – Cash, Accrual, and/or GAAP basis

·         Prepare and maintain Fixed Asset/Depreciation Schedules

·         Ensure monthly loans/real estate taxes, etc. are paid in a timely manner

·         Review/analyze/input tenant leases to ensure accurate billings

·         Prepare/review CPI/Rent Increase/Percentage Rent (if applicable) Calculations

·         Operating Expense Reconciliations

·         Ability to work on multiple properties

·         Ability to interact effectively with multiple on-site management personnel

·         Prepare schedules/interact with auditors as may be required for annual audits

·         Client focused and exceptional communication skills

·         Takes responsibility for meeting deadlines
