                 Accountant and Office AdministratorOur Company is seeking an experienced accountant to operate and manage the financial and administrative affairs of the Company. We are an educational software developer and publisher of an internet-based interactive education network for pre-kindergarten through third grade children who need early reading skills. We feature an un precedented integrated reading instruction and intervention program that aligns to national reading standards. We are a fast growing Company with aproximately 30 - 35 employees located in Richardson, Texas.Required Skills: 10+ years of accounting related experience 3+ years of management experience BS/BA degree in accounting CPA a plus Public accounting experience a plus

 Responsibilities include: Full general ledger responsibilities - must know QuickBooks software Month end cloisng and preapration of journal entries' Preparation of monthlyu, quarterly and annual acccrual basis conolidated financial statements Bank reconciliation Maintenance of sub-lefger for fixed assets and revenue recognition Preparation and distribution of invoices, A/R collections and coordination with support services for account maintenance Payroll processing and preparation of journal entries Preparation of budgets and projections and variance analyses Developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts Assistant in the design, development an domplementation of fiscal internal control, budget and administrative systems of the Company Maintenance of Company records, including employee personnel files Health insurance and 401K general administration systems of the Company Health insurance and 401K general administration General office management including purchasig and maintenace of supplie Preparation of state franchise tax forms and coordination of preparatio of federal tax forms with external CPA Coordination with external auditors other accountants

Qualifications: Proven ability to muti-task simulataneously in a faxt moving organization Execellent communicaiton skills Able to be a team player - flexible and prepared to assist as needed with anything Extremely organized and detail oriented Able to solve problems using sound business sense Self motivated with a "can do" attitude Strong computer skill - must be experienced in QuickBooks, Powerpoint, Excel Able to develop and implement effectige procedures and systems Goal oriented professional with a stong work ethic
