Financial Analyst

Assist in the preparation, analysis, and distribution of the financial statement package. Responsibilities include follow-up to inquiries made regarding issued financial statements, as well as special projects assigned by management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles all administration for Sarbanes Oxley.

• Assist Controller in preparation of budgets, forecasting, modeling.

• Budget and forecasting review

• Assist in the month-end closing and distribution of monthly financial statements.

• Conduct cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects assigned by the Controller.

• Perform detailed financial statement analyses.

• Manage acquisition accounting and related issues.

• Assist with audit related issues, compliance and special projects.

• Serve as liaison to location managers

• Perform cost analysis and ad hoc analysis

 

Skills and Abilities Required:

Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Strong analytical skills.

Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.

Must be detail oriented.

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

Experience with Navision software a plus, Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel & Office

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 3 - 5 years of related corporate experience
