Financial Analyst
Description:Responsibilities include assisting in the financial management of a $160+ million dollar US Manufacturing and Process Solutions Business. Responsibilities also include the support of the US Business Leaders through the overall coordination of financial reporting, planning and analysis, including assisting in the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), analysis of monthly operating performance, and business forecasting. Operational analysis for the current month and year to date operating results, compared to plan, forecast and prior year is required. Continuous review of financial and operational processes to ensure proper internal controls are in place.Responsible for Monthly Closing ActivitiesAssist in the development and coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Assist in the development of AOP financial statements and reports.Conduct LEAN / Productivity reviews, engage with team on project ideas and deck, savings calculations, project prioritization and savings measurement. Included but not limited to Applied Time Analysis, Billing Time Analysis, Pricing, and REC savings.Support Commercial Departments from Finance perspective, budgeting, forecasting and reporting on a monthly / as needed basis.Generate continual improvements of existing financial and business planning systems, including development of new reports and performance measurements.Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business Conduct.Assist in the overall management of assets for the U.S. MPS business. Assist in cost accounting duties and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist in generating and reviewing monthly financial presentations. Ad Hoc Support and Analysis as Requested.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in finance or accounting.3-5 years experience in Finance and Accounting. Proven analytical experience required for forecasting and financial analysis.
