Financial Analyst - Ground floor of a growing department!

Attention Financial Analysts!!!This position is responsible for coordinating and consolidating the Operator financial portion of the Division’s annual budget and strategic plan. On a monthly basis this position analyzes the financial performance including forecasts, variance analysis, capital investment analysis, operations review reports and preparing management reports that explain the results and variance to plans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Coordinate and lead the annual budget process for the operator locations. • Coordinate and develop the financial portion of the annual strategic plan update. • Coordinate preparation of monthly operations review packages ensuring proper analysis and interpretation of results is provided to senior management. • Analyze monthly financial performance by plant operation, by channel of distribution, by customer and by product providing management with interpretation and reporting of results. • Participate in monthly operations review meetings interacting with all levels of management. • Review & perform return on investment analyses for major capital investment decisions that require executive management approval. • Prepare and analyze various divisional financial measurements, related to working capital management, cash flow, and economic value added. • Prepare various ad hoc analyses including pro-forma analysis of new products and various business metrics. Other Responsibilities • Work as liaison with Corporate Finance ensuring all reporting requirements are met. • Provide financial support to divisional teams. • Assist with corporate cost center budgeting. • Prepare estimates of territory market potentials for customer financial services, sales management, and sales center management;• 2-5 years experience in financial analysis roles with increasing responsibility. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is also desirable. • Individual must be comfortable dealing with all levels of management, from accountant to Division President and CEO. • Must be a self-directed individual, able to manage multiple projects simultaneous. • Excellent personal computer skills including proficiency with MS Office-Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion  is a plus. - Forecasting and Budgeting experienceEducation Requirements • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance. • MBA and/or CPA is highly desirable.
