Alliant is a leading syndicator of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), a program designed to provide affordable housing throughout the United States, as administered under Section 42 of the IRS Code. Job Responsibilities:
As a member of Alliant’s Asset Management Department, the Senior Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for the oversight of all reporting, both to and from the Asset Management Department, including the preparation and review of all corporate Investor reporting.

 

Responsibilities will include:

Ÿ Analyze, adjust and input Property Level financial data for Alliant’s Tax Credit (Section 42) Multi-Family Apartment Investment Portfolio, including Annual Operating Budgets, Quarterly Financial Statements, Year-End Audited Financial Statements and Tax Returns.  Provide review analysis to Asset Managers.

Ÿ Coordination and preparation of Monthly Construction and Occupancy Reports with the Construction and Asset Management Departments.

Ÿ Coordination and preparation of Quarterly Reports for Alliant’s Upper-Tier Investors.

Ÿ Build Queries and Reports in Microsoft Access Database on an as-needed basis for Investor Reporting and Asset Management purposes.

Ÿ Maintain Asset Management and Investor Reporting Calendars to track pending deadlines and completion progress.  Work with Staff to ensure deadlines are met.

Ÿ Assist Department on Special Projects related to Investor Reporting and Alliant’s Database.

 

Requirements:
Candidate must have familiarity with general principles of Real Estate (multi-family preferred), Operations and Analysis, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Lending Practices, and General Accounting.  Strong Analytical, Excel and Access skills required, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Microsoft Access and/or other database experience preferred.
