A San Mateo Technology company is looking for a Financial Analyst supporting revenue.

Revenue Analyst, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis

Description:
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team.  This individual will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will perform analysis and provide reporting on our worldwide revenue and commissions. 

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and system skills and an understanding of revenue accounting.  An ideal candidate will have experience analyzing revenue and commissions expense, preferably in the software industry or at a company with a subscription model.  This individual will also support the revenue and commissions forecasting processes.

Responsibilities:
" Analyze the Company's worldwide revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
" Report on monthly and quarterly sales and customer metrics
" Analyze and report on churn
" Support the revenue forecasting process
" Analyze the Company's worldwide commissions expense
" Support the commissions forecasting process
" Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed

Qualifications:

" BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA or CPA a plus
" Minimum 3-5 years finance/accounting experience, preferably in the software industry or subscription model business
" Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
" Experience using an ERP system is a must
" Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
" Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
