Financial Manager

As a Financial Manager, this position will work as part of the North America Finance team to provide general financial support, conduct analysis, forecasting and budgeting to Ipsos UU. Additionally, on an ad-hoc basis, the Finance Manager will work with the NA Finance team on other financial matters or projects.

 

Further, this person will provide financial and other ad hoc analysis on one of the Group’s key clients.  The Finance manager will support the SVP responsible for this client by helping him to analyze profitability and other key indicators.  This role will cross multiple businesses within the Ipsos US Group and not just IUU.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the preparation of the Ipsos UU Budget, Forecast and 3-Year Plan in liaison with senior management

· Management of full multi-site P&L and analysis of variances to plan

· Analyze all essential Key Performance Indicators and prepare a monthly management report

· Provide business and financial support to business unit management teams (profitability analysis, financial modeling, ROI calculations, etc…)

· Provide continuous oversight of capital expenditures and approval of operating expenses

· Preparation of any required monthly financial management reports to senior management

· Pro-active review of projects providing timely feedback to Client Service leaders on specific deviations from budget

· Management of administrative resource responsible for approval of expenditures in accordance with policies.

· Such administrative and approval policies are to be documented by financial analyst in accordance with Ipsos Group policies and procedures.

· Identification of risks and cost-saving opportunities, including negotiation of supply agreements with significant vendors.

· Provide financial analysis regarding the key indicators of one of the group’s largest clients, including overall profitability analyses and detailed project analyses.

 

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree with concentration in accounting/finance, along with 3-5 years financial experience in an analyst position including budgeting and forecasting responsibilities. The candidate will have strong analytical skills and excellent communication, working with Senior Management, Client Service, Accounting and Ipsos Paris Headquarters representatives.  Additionally, our candidate will have a high degree of problem solving ability, variance analysis experience, a strong mathematical aptitude, well developed computer skills and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
