Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Dynamic, results-oriented company seeks to add key individual to the Finance Team.  This Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will report to the VP of Finance for one of the company's largest divisions.  This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated invidual who is looking for an opportunity for growth and to add value. 

Responsibilities include:

·  Perform monthly profitability and variance analysis.  Prepare financial reports for senior management to effectively communicate operating results identifying key business drivers.

·  Develop accurate and timely financial forecast of business operations, working closely with regional VP of Operations and location Directors of Operations.

·  Manage yearly budgeting process for assigned business operations and cost centers.

·  Assist business operations in identifying and carrying out initiatives to improve profits, reduce costs, evaluate investments and best use of available resources.

·  Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and implement best methods and practices.

· Prepare financial reporting package for monthly business review calls and quarterly segment reviews with executive management team.

· Special projects as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance is required. MBA or CPA is a plus. Five to seven years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Two plus years of experience supervising one to two analysts .Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency with Hyperion Essbase and Solomon desirable.
