The Role-Financial Reporting Analyst

 Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, the primary objective of this role is to assist with the financial reporting process while providing timely, accurate and insightful analysis of business results.  Key responsibilities will include:

·      Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process.  Prepare journal entries, record foreign currency bank activity, and provide explanations of financial variances relative to budget and prior period.

·       Prepare monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts

·       Prepare analyses that will explain variances in balance sheet accounts when compared to prior periods.

·        Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley S404 compliance.  Make recommendations that will improve the soundness of the control environment.

·        Assist with the preparation of supporting schedules for the federal tax package.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two to four years of professional experience, combined with a track record of accomplishments and progression.  He/She will be an effective communicator and will possess strong technical, analytical and organizational skills.  A BS in Accounting or Finance is required.
