FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER

Zetron, Inc., a recognized industry leader in providing mission-critical communication applications, has an immediate opportunity available for a Software Engineer III. This position, under general supervision, performs a variety of complex duties of an accounting and financial reporting nature, requiring initiative and judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and participate in the preparation and distribution of consolidated financial statements and financial reporting.

• Ensure all documentation complies with company regulations and professional standards including GAAP.

• Oversee Financial Reporting, GL, Payroll / Benefits Billing, Fixed Assets, Tax

• Records journal entries.

• Identify procedure/processing needs, provide suggestions, implement change that supports Company initiatives.

• Lead / mentor related staff

• Required to perform the job functions in a safe manner.

Requirements:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job is acceptable. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education: Business, math and communication skills as would be acquired with a four-year degree.

Experience: Five years related experience in an accounting/finance environment. General ledger and financial reporting experience a plus. Two years supervisory experience.

• Basic computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry. Familiar use of office equipment such as copiers, printers, and fax machines.

• Position is located in the main building. Workspace is located in the Finance area. Requires frequent sitting. Position is required to go to all areas of the company.

• Problem solving, attention to detail, good organization skills. Team leader/player.
