Financial Reporting-Senior Accountant

A growing company in Dallas seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:* Participate in SEC financial reporting process * Prepares supporting schedules for SEC filings and annual audit * Reconcile balance sheet accounts at the corporate level with multiple subsidiaries. * Produce monthly management reporting package * Analyze monthly operational results for multiple entries  * Assists the controller with various projects, including but not limited to: Cash flows Straight-line rent 10Q and 10K reporting Maintain affiliated public company reporting requirements, and record keeping SOX complianceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Required:* Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience * Real estate transactional experience (purchase, sales, development) * Bachelors Degree in Accounting * Corporate level accounting * Consolidations and inter-company * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel * Energetic, hard working, and highly motivated * Good analytical and research skills * Strong technical accounting skills * Professional appearance, demeanor and communication skillsDesired: * CPA license or candidate * SEC Reporting experience * Proficient in Great Plains  Please submit a copy of your word formatted resume  to rami.muhanna@parkerlynch.com .  Only qualified candidates will be contacted.   Company: Parker and Lynch Status: Full Time, Employee Location: US-TX-Dallas Salary: 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
