Fixed Assest Project Specialist

This position will be responsible for driving process improvements within the FA process. It will require a clear understanding of Fixed Assets Sub Process and it will require the ability to work closely with Information Technology (IT) to ensure the most cost effective solution is implemented in the specified time frame.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for leading system implementation initiatives

Responsible for investigating, understanding and proposing solutions to a variety of FA Sub Processes
��
Responsible for maintaining project list along with an associated priority
��
Responsible for creating, documenting and resolving any testing issues related to system upgrades, patches, or enhancements
��
Responsible for recommending to the FA Team Lead, FA Controller, and Director of Shared Services the implementation and timing of any FA-related upgrades, patches and enhancements to the production environment
��
Responsible for working with IT and Corporate Accounting on any system performance issues
CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS
EXPERIENCE
��
5 to 10 years of FA or Accounting experience
��
Oracle FA experience
��
Oracle Projects experience
��
Project Management Experience
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
��
Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting or Finance
��
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
