Citigroup’s internal audit division provides independent assessments of the company’s risk and control environment. Our findings and recommendations influence business management processes worldwide and senior management decision making around the world. Acts as a leader in identifying emerging risks within fixed income businesses and ensuring that appropriate coverage of those risks are provided by ARR globally. Serves as the key interface for global ICG Fixed Income businesses including derivatives, structuring, corporate and government bonds, and Independent Market Risk, foreign exchange and finance with respect to client service needs; responsible for developing effective senior line management relationships globally; interacts with the ARR CIB Fixed Income Liaison, CIB ARR Directors and Program Directors with respect to emerging risks and ARR coverage requirements.Identifies and reports global control trends, issues and causes to senior global business CIB management and ARR management focusing largely on Global Fixed Income, commodities and foreign exchange; proposes global pragmatic control solutions/ best practices to address issues identified. Acts as a leader in serving clients with respect to major business initiatives and proactively advises and assists the business on change initiatives. Provides risk and control process expertise for complex capital markets products including derivatives and other structured products globally. Actively participates in all aspects of audit methodology to ensure global quality and consistency.  This includes travel to Citi locations to participate in on-site reviews as needed. Review of risk assessment profilesAssists in determining control issues classification, establishing consistency in report ratings and proper report tone.Plays a leadership role in training and developing others.  BA/BS equivalent Advanced degree in finance/accounting/economics and/ or professional certification preferred Typically 8 to 12 years of relevant experience, including significant product and leadership experience Knowledge of risk assessment techniques and principles Thorough understanding of diverse fixed income products most notably structured/derivatives and related independent risk monitoring and reporting controls, regulatory and other external factors facing the corporation.
