Job Category:  AAccounting/Finance/Insurance Type:  Full Time, Employee Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree INTERNATIONAL GAAP ACCOUNTANT (Must be fluent in Arabic and/or French)Report directly to VP-International Accounting and Finance for a long term project in the Oman. You will need a solid accounting background, CPA candidacy, interest in international travel and Arabic fluency. Candidates from large public accounting firms with 2-4 years of audit or Fortune 500 Internal Auditors are highly desirable for this Truly unique position. In this position you will be groomed for accelerated promotion and increased levels of responsibility. The company has worked in most of the Middle East countries, with particularly heavy involvement in Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia. They have been in operations in the Middle East since early 1970 and have been consistently profitable.The best candidate will be fluent in the Arabic language, have public accounting experience with large public clients in the manufacturing industry with sound ability to research technical accounting issues to comply with GAAP, consolidation, and Sox testing.
