This individual will be responsible for processing entries in the general ledger, assisting in the closing process, performing general accounting functions such as reconciliations, and assisting the supervisor of general accounting and controller in any additional projects.JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES:• Assist with processing fixed asset disposals, transfers, and activations, and booking the monthly depreciation and construction in progress entries.• Assist in the month end close process - post journal entries for our client's records.• Maintain reconciliations for major balance sheet accounts including fixed assets, payroll accounts and accruals.• Assist with processing customer paid tooling and related entries.• Assist with tax information preparation, including the annual tax return, sales and use tax returns, and sales and use tax audits.• Assist with year end audit.• Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasts.• Perform intercompany accounting, including intercompany invoicing, maintaining monthly intercompany reconciliations, and revaluing foreign currency denominated accounts.Requirements and Qualifications:   - B.S. degree in Accounting - 2-3 years experience in General Accounting area - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Fixed Asset experience preferred - Hyperion experience preferred - SAP experience preferred - Public accounting experience preferred (CPA is a plus)
