Coalescent Technologies Corporation is a professional engineering firm that provides sophisticated engineering products and services to the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Established in 1995, Coalescent Technologies is privately owned and operated with it’s headquarters in Winter Park, Florida. We maintain divisional offices in Washington, DC, Maryland, Atlanta and Virginia. Due to our continued growth we are seeking to fill the position of General Accounting Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Bachelor's Degree in Finance with 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Proficient with Deltek GCS Premier and MS Office Suite
*Knowledge of DFAS and GSA processing.
*Experience with audits.
*Experience with cost analysis and rate studies.
*Experience managing 1-3 person accounting staff. *Experience in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE PERFORMED:
*Plan and direct overall accounting activities within the finance and accounting department.
*Management of P/R, A/P, A/R to include invoicing, cash management, G/L activities, DFAS and GSA auditing.
