General Accounting Manager

A recognized leader in a diversified industry, our client focuses on providing solutions for various complex business communications and information management needs.

 

The general accounting manager is responsible for overseeing the recording for our client’s transactions for their combined businesses. Specific responsibilities include preparing and reviewing reconciliations, Oracle general ledger super-user, managing staff of approximately 5, supporting the accounting and reporting requirements of the company,  providing analysis and supporting requests from internal and external auditors.  Qualified candidates will need strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and will have a strong desire and ability to embrace change and implement continuous process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA with 5 years of relevant and progressive accounting experience. Strong Oracle or other global ERP systems experience (SAP, JD Edwards, Lawson, etc.)
