Description

 

We are seeking individuals to join our growing Government Contract Industry Group in our (Vienna) Tysons Corner and Virginia Beach, Virginia offices to advise clients in bid strategies, proposal development, proposal pricing, contract negotiations, contract administration, policies and procedures and close-outs for a wide range of government contract types issued by civilian and military agencies. You will often establish long-term relationships with our clients. We have an outstanding consulting team and pride ourselves on being a great place to work.

 

Successful candidates must be self motivated, be interested in continuous learning and improvement, be a quick learner, enjoy the challenge of working with minimal supervision, and be able to interact easily with a wide range of professional staff at all levels of the client organizations. Strong verbal, writing and people skills are required.

 

Requirements

 

- 4 yr Degree

- A solid, practical understanding of contract clauses, FARs and industry practices for U.S. Government contracting.

- Deltek/Costpoint

- Experience pricing, negotiating and administering federal contracts, preferably for the provision of professional services.

- Knowledge of contracting under GSA schedules.

- Additional skills in financial analysis and cost proposal preparation are a plus.

- CPCM or other NCMA certification is also a plus.

- Prior consulting or public accounting experiences a plus.
