Position Description:

UHY is currently looking for a Manager/Senior Manager with health care industry experience, primarily hospital related, responsible for leading various auditing and accounting projects. This opportunity is located in our Connecticut Practice (Hartford or New Haven office).  A senior with a CPA and over three years of health care audit experience and a Manager/Senior Manager with over five years health care audit experience and their CPA may be considered for the positions.

 

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business;CPA license (Required for Manager/Senior Manager);Senior level should have 3+ years experienceManager/Senior Manager level should have five+ years of current public health care audit experience, preferably related to hospitalsSubstantial experience in performing financial statement audits; Demonstrated engagement supervisory experience; Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures; Experience with paperless audit softwareStrong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills;Proven technical skills with Excel and Word Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
