Healthcare Controller... Dynamic Healthcare Controller Needed in Abilene, TX

Novotus has been retained by Sears-Methodist Retirement System (SMRS) to quickly identify and hire a top notch Healthcare Controller. Established in 1966 SMRS is now the largest non-profit provider of residential health care services in the state of TX. We are an innovative organization that strives for improvements across all divisions.



This is an executive, highly visible position within SMRS that will report directly to the CFO. We are looking for you to oversee the 20+ person corporate accounting department and take responsibility for: financial statement presentation, cash management, and Medicaid and Medicare reporting and billing. We will also utilize your skills for other special projects to include: annual operating budgets, policies and procedures, recommendation and implementations for improved efficiencies, consistencies, etc.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following –Accounting degree (CPA preferred) or other Business Degree and applicable experiences 5+ years accounting exposures to include financial statement preparation Healthcare experience to include Medicaid and Medicare Exceptional leadership skills
