Hospital Billers and Follow-up Representative

Looking for candidates with good Medical collections, Billing and Follow up experience. Specialists collect on problematic and aged insurance claims on behalf of our clients. They contact insurance carries for status updates, resubmit claims, write appeals when necessary, etc. We are looking for candidates that have some experience working and resolving outstanding hospital and/or physician insurance claims. A background with all aspects of billing is preferred. Other duties will be assigned. follow-up on rejections or needed contractual, communicate with insurance carriers/third parties and assist clients with claims and billing issues. Two years of Hospital experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent is required Experience with Microsoft Office applications is helpful Experience in medical billing field (hospital and/or physician claims experience is preferred) Experience with resolving insurance denials and appeal process protocols Excellent verbal & written communication skills Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9 & CPT4 coding Experience with all payors is preferred Two years of Medical follow up/collections
