Position: Hotel Acquisitions and Asset Management Analyst

Work Location:  Houston, TX (Located near the Galleria)

 

Position Summary:

The hotel asset management analyst position will be relied upon to perform a variety of financial and analytical analyses related to hotel investment platforms.

 

Essential Functions:   Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for existing hotel investments. Assist in reviewing and analyzing business plans and actual performance of hotel investments. Assist in preparing financial debt covenants for lenders. Assist in strategic repositioning analysis. Assist in repositioning of hotel assets. Assist in disposition of hotel assets.

 

Desired Education/Experience: Accounting, Finance, Business, Hospitality, Real Estate degree preferred.  Six (6) months to one (1) year of industry experience in related fields such as accounting, investment management, finance, structured finance, real estate, capital markets, or private equity.

 

Knowledge/Abilities:     Entrepreneurial mind-set with a high level of intellectual capacity, curiosity, and integrity. Exceptional analytical ability and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication (written and oral) skills. Proficiency in Excel modeling and experience with PowerPoint and MS Word. Ability to multi-task in a deadline-sensitive environment. Willingness to work hard with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach to tasks. Highly motivated.
