INTERNAL AUDITOR

The Doe Fund is a leading NYC nonprofit organization that helps the homeless get off the street and into a better life through our work/housing program.

We are seeking a professional to conduct, lead & manage integrated financial & operational audits. Reporting to the President, you will develop risk-based audit programs (based on risk assessment & data analysis) testing controls, documentation, plan & organize audit assignments, process/control testing, & communicate findings through reports, memoranda, & PowerPoint. Will also oversee tax preparation filing process & all financial reporting.

Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred) or business administration, CPA, CIA (or in process) with 6-8 yrs experience of audit/accounting experience in large public /corporate environment. Familiarity with principles of financial analysis & statistical techniques, a full grasp of accounting & auditing principles (GAAP, GAAS, SOX), & current in accounting & audit standards essential. Knowledge of Lawson and/or Oracle Financials & ACL highly desirable.
