' Possesses outstanding expertise in this technical field of taxation' Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills' Possesses people development and delegation skills, including training/instruction' Possesses executive presence ' needs to be able to prepare and present to clients and potential clients' Possesses excellent decision-making skills' Has expert ability in providing written tax advice in this specialized areas of taxation' Supervises and reviews work of others in final review or secondary review capacity' Involved in practice development or practice growth initiatives in either a support role of in a primary role' Develop part-time experts in the core offices as a Tax Consulting Group' Detailed knowledge of the IRS audit manual' Leverage his/her experience in dealing with the IRS audits; practices; new processes for resolution; procedures' Be able to consult on FIN48/FAS109 issues related to statutes of limitations; interest; penalties; audit exposure; audit history; and, measurement' Work with the head of Tax Quality Control on '6694 and other emerging issues to develop the firm's procedures' Assist clients with the examination process (audit readiness; refund opportunities; exposure analysis; planning; conferences; IDR evaluation/negotiation; accelerated audit procedures; reviewing Proposed Adjustments; negotiating final results; post examination reviews' Prepare and assist clients with the Appeals process' Assist clients and their legal counsel with Tax Court filings; preparation; analysis' Practice/Procedures including alternative dispute resolution; Fast Track; Prefiling agreements; Industry Issue Resolution; closing agreements; penalty issues; LIFE and CAP audit procedures' Communicating benefits to clients concerning reduced time/cost of IRS audits; better planning; more accurate financial statements.
