IT Staff Auditor
Description:Position Summary Reporting to the Manager of IT Internal Audit, this position performs audits throughout Rockwell Automation. Responsibilities will generally consist of one or more of the following:Assist in the performance of audits and reviews to determine and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control environment and systems. Assist in performance of operating system, database and application vulnerability assessment testing, including documentation of the results. Assist in the performance of data acquisition and data mining from a variety of legacy mainframe, client server and web-based applications using multiple general and specialized tools. Assist in the development of recommendations and reports for delivery to the auditee and/or management.This position will also assist and support the financial audit staff in activities including the use of computer technology and specialized audit tools.This position involves travel to both domestic and international locations, which averages about 16 to 26 weeks annually. Travel in the U.S. will generally be Monday through Friday.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong presentation and written and oral communications skills. Able to act as a member of a team and interact with all levels of IT and staff personnel.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field. 1 - 2 years experience in performing IT Audit projects or other IT experience (development, system administration or security related). Experience with Microsoft operating systems and/or UNIX, LINUX and other distributed operating systems. Solid PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, etc.). Strong written and oral communication skills - fluency in English. Experience in industrial manufacturing company environment. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, Section 404. Familiarity with SAP. IT operations experience in a relevant field such as database management, information security, ERP design and development, etc.Programming experience (C#, C++, Java, Perl, Visual Basic).
