Income Tax Analyst (2006869)

DescriptionAs a member of the Perrigo Corporate Tax team, this position will prepare federal, state & local and international income tax returns. The analyst will complete estimated payments and extensions and maintain documentation to support IRS, state & local and international tax audits. This position will also prepare fiduciary, property, excise and unclaimed fund tax returns. Will assist in the maintenance of the department's electronic systems and ensure that they are utilized effectively. Will also research tax issues and have other responsibilities as assigned.Required SkillsSkills should include: an understanding of tax laws, financial reporting (including FAS 109, FIN 48 and SOX), ability to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects simultaneously and to work independently. Strong financial knowledge and effective written and oral communication skills are essential. Computer literacy and advanced skills in the use of accounting/tax software are necessary: experience with SAP, Excel and Corp Tax or similar tax software is strongly desired.Required ExperienceA bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline required. A CPA designation is preferred; a Masters in Taxation is a plus.
