Inside Sales Representative

We are currently in search of (2) Inside Sales Representatives for our Deerfield, IL office.
Position Description:
Works in the Marketing Department to generate qualified sales leads, qualify Marketing campaign-generated leads,
assist in pipeline management, as well as gather prospect, competitive and marketplace intelligence.
Reports to the Marketing Manager and Business Development.
Position Responsibilities:Develops business opportunities for the company's products and services through proactive account development, relationship building, prospecting and contacting existing and potential customers.Completes lead qualification of contacts generated through Marketing campaigns, trade shows and our web site, gathering information on the prospect, determining their viability as a prospect and capturing all relevant data in our CRM systemManaging the pipeline for each sales territory and helping to develop accurate metrics used to monitor lead flow. This includes the maintenance of the CRM to ensure accurate record keeping, analysis, timely follow-up and the management of the sales cycle.Executes extensive telephone-based programs including initiating calls to potential clients to introduce and market CORPTAX products with the primary goal of establishing relationships to grow businessExecutes calling campaigns into existing client base for cross selling of additional products and services. This includes preparing scripts, call lists, performing data entry steps and generating campaign reports.Maintain regular and scheduled contact with prospects. This includes fulfillment of information requests, correspondence and CRM data management.Handles all inbound sales calls and contacts generated through the web site. This includes lead qualification,fulfillment, data entry, product demonstration and sales hand-off.Identifies appropriate contacts within assigned companies and evaluates the opportunity for a saleLead online demonstrations of products for clients and prospects Set up in-person product demonstrations for the Regional Sales Managers. Contacts Regional Sales Managers regarding qualified leads, demos and sales in their territory. Works closely with the sales team. Use of spreadsheets and databases to accurately record market information gathered for all calls made. Prepares and organizes calling campaigns. This includes preparing calling scripts, calling lists and data entry forms.
Manages and drive projects to agreed upon deadlines. Manage multiple projects under tight timelines while delivering accurate and high quality results. Develops and maintains in depth knowledge of assigned productsPrepares and submits required reports in a timely mannerAttains sales quotas
Experience and skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related studies a plus.3+ year's industry or public accounting experience in corporate tax compliance, accounting,Software sales or tax software systems a plus.Exposure to tax software a plus as well as past experience developing or maintaining spreadsheet and/or software applicationsMust have very articulate, professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be professional yet persuasive. Must have a positive attitude and be motivated to achieve successful programs. Technical Information Systems backgroundHighly motivatedSelf directedAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. Heavy telephone usage required.
Communication:
Heavy telephone/computer usage (6+ hours per day); 30-50 outbound calls per dayPersuades prospects to choose CORPTAX products over competitors.Communicates with respective Regional Sales Manager on activities in territoryEffectively works trade shows for future prospects
Leadership Effectiveness:
Works with other CORPTAX departments to provide information, sell additional products and services to provide effective hand-off after the sale and give feedback to better CORPTAX processes.Assists services with contact and background information of prospectsAdvises Marketing on competitive information and gives feedback on marketing campaignsReads business journals and professional publications and shares knowledge, innovations and approaches with othersContinues to learn sales skills and technical knowledge relevant to the position.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related studies a plus.3+ year's industry or public accounting experience in corporate tax compliance, accounting, software sales or tax software systems a plus.
