Insurance Call Center

Prestigous company is seeking customer service representatives to manage their phone calls and general correspondence received from members of the Employee Health Plan Provider who render treatment to members. Ideal candidate must be able to handle up to 100 calls per day and have medical knowledge. Other responsibilities include: initiate requests for stop payments, re-issues, and/or check forgery, initiate recalculation requests after verfitying the benefits were mis-paid, provide back-up in other areas as needed, follow HIPPA guidelines, and other duties as assigned. Company requires a high school diploma/GED. The critical requirements in this position:  experience in a call center environment, medical knowledge and pleasant telephone voice / customer service.
