Interim Controller with SEC Reporting

Company:  Ajilon Finance Solutions Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  SD-05298-510184 Location:  San Diego, CA 92122 Job Status:  Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Ajilon Finance Solutions partners with Senior Consultants to provide ongoing strategic and tactical support to our Fortune 1000 clients.   We currently have a need for an interim controller with a particular emphasis in SEC reporting.   Strong experience in preparing SEC filings and performing accounting, research, and gathering information required to complete the Forms 10-Q and 10-K including the footnotes and MD&A analysis. Must be able to review subsidiary financial statements to ensure consistency with consolidated disclosures. Ability to interact with senior financial management at division and corporate office as well as non-financial executives in other departments.   Required Qualifications:   -5+ Years experience as a Controller for $50M+ Revenue Public Co. -3+ Years of Management Experience -7+ Years of Finance and Accounting Experience -Experienced with front and back office accounting including: GL, A/R, A/P, Payroll, Generation of Financial Statements -SEC reporting experience -Strong technical accounting research skills -Self-motivated, able to work with a limited amount of supervision -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Must be able to handle multiple assignments and be deadline-oriented -Must be team-oriented -Experience with financial consolidations and statutory reporting desirable. -CPA (Big 4, 6, 8 a plus) -MBA, Preferred Salary/Pay Rate: DOE About Ajilon Ajilon Professional Staffing is a leader in recruiting and project consulting, with specialty divisions in finance & accounting, management & office support, and legal.
