Internal Auditor

Our client is a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing that builds and manages online businesses for more than 40,000 clients.  They are currently seeking to add an Internal Auditor and a IT Auditor to their financial team. This position will be responsible for leveraging knowledge of internal controls and GAAP to assist with development of the annual audit plan.  You will be planning, performing and /or leading financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with the IIA and other standards. You will conduct interviews, data collect and analyze, document, summarize, and communicate results of business processes.  This will allow the flowcharting of business processes and the evaluation of the controls, design, execution and documenting of audit tests.  You will advise management regarding risks and best practices as well as consult with systems development teams to ensure that proper controls are included.  Work closely with management to influence improvements in business processes and systems of internal control.

REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting of Finance, CPA, CIA or CISA highly desired.  3+ years of progressive experience in internal audit or public accounting as well as experience in performing financial, operational and systems audits as well as business process control reviews is required.  SOX and Section 404 experience a plus.  Travel is limited to less than 20% with occasional international travel.
