Internal Auditor I

Job Summary:

Performs the following types of duties: under the direction of the Manager of Internal Audit, audits the accounting and other departments, entities, and processes to ensure they are in compliance with plans, policies and procedures prescribed by management; performs significant SOX compliance work as well as operational and other types of audits; performs other related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge: of financial accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley, internal audit principles, international business practices, and MLM.

Skill: Foreign language proficiency desired, but not required. Skill with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Ability: to work on multiple projects at a time. Ability to document audit evidence and come to audit conclusions. Work with little or no supervision—a self starter. Ability to compile work papers in a logical fashion. Ability in supervising other staff or internal audit interns and to develop relationships with key NSP personnel and external auditors and consultants.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with minimal experience. Willingness to get professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, etc., and to participate in related training.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Maintains strict confidentiality, exhibits integrity. Willing to travel internationally as necessary.
