We are currently in search of an Internal Control Analyst II to join our team who is experienced in large-scale and fast-paced corporate environments, knowledgeable with high volume ERP financial systems.  This is a truly challenging and rewarding position, complete with a comprehensive benefits package and generous yearly bonus structure.

 

INTERNAL CONTROL ANALYST II



Our Internal Control Analysts are a critical part of our Finance team, as they will coordinate N.A. Internal Control Group efforts to partner with Operations in the implementation of a new organization, standard processes and controls. The objective of the Internal Control department is to increase performance and operational effectiveness while implementing and maintaining a control environment in line with Group Standards.  Working with Regional, Functional and Product Line Process Owners, the IC Analyst II will coordinate the identification, analysis, and implementation of actions designed to safeguard the assets of the organization through risk mitigation or elimination.  In addition, the IC Analyst II will ensure that Operations establish, maintain, and test the adequacy and compliance to Internal Controls in day-to-day operations, with ongoing reviews to identify internal control weaknesses and corrective action. This position reports to the Director, Internal Control for the Cement Division on North America. 

 

Our ICA must have a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing and/or financial reporting, exposure to internal controls and business processes within a large organization, as well as an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.  It is preferred that candidates hold at least one designation of CPA, CGA (completed), CMA or CIA.  Experience with large ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards, SAP, Lawson or Oracle Financials will be highly preferred, along with very strong communication, organization and analytical skills, able to take ownership of the role and its responsibilities while working within a team environment. Please note, this position can require up to 40% travel.
