International Assistant Controller

Market America is expanding its presence in key geographic markets and is recruiting an International Assistant Controller to provide timely reporting in proactively managing the Company’s growth.  The International Assistant Controller will assist the International Controller to oversee the accounting for operations in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

 

Key roles and responsibilities will include:Assist in preparation of financial reports for subsidiaries, including monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, and intercompany account reconciliations.Assist in analysis of budgets and forecasts for all foreign subsidiaries.Assist in supervising accounting personnelPrepare supporting documents for governmental reports

 

Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent.Good working knowledge of GAAP.4 to 6 years of public/private industry experience including a supervisory role.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).  Ability to read and speak Mandarin a strong plus.High proficiency with Excel.  Mid-range financial system experience, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) is a plus.The candidate must be:  accurate; detail oriented; well organized; and able to prioritize tasks.Must have ability to multi-task and manage a varied and constantly changing workload in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
