Summary:
Responsible for the Global Budget coordination and consolidation, including the development and maintenance of the Planning Tool models.

Primary Responsibilities:
 
•Facilitates bottom-up and top-down operating budget development.  Coordinates Global budget through communication with budget preparers.

•Produces a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro formas for senior management and planning unit.

•Develops international budgeting tool and coordinates budget submission through communication with divisional financial leaders and budget preparers.

•Develops global consolidation budget reporting tool.  Coordinates with the manager of domestic financial reporting and planning for consolidation and global allocation.

•Liaison with Financial Reporting for consolidated actual data to load into budget system, as well as the upload and verification of the global consolidated budget results into the financial reporting system.

•Examines and analyzes financial results such as budgets, and profit and loss statements.

•Develops forecast models as needed.

•Develops and writes procedure and budget reference manuals.

Qualifications:

•Education - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years experience, or combination of equivalent education and experience in accounting and finance.

•Communication Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports.  Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers or management.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers or other internal customers.

•Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts.

•Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in written or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

•Other Skills and Abilities – Advanced computer literate.  Very strong or advanced knowledge of Excel.  Ability to work with financial systems.  Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology helpful.
