The International Tax Compliance (ITC) Team is seeking a qualified individual to provide international tax technical and technology compliance support specifically with respect to the Thomson/InSource suite of products to its U.S. offices and Region 10 office in Hyderabad, India. Qualified candidate must have strong tax technical skills, in addition to InSource product expertise. Job Description Deloitte Tax's International Tax Compliance National Platform is looking for a qualified individual to provide international tax compliance technology and e-Filing support to its U.S. offices and Region 10 office in Hyderabad, India. Qualified candidate must have CorpTax/CorpInternational and CORPTAX ETS experience; experience with other tax compliance software products is a plus. The Deloitte Tax LLP ITC Team is responsible for providing international tax technical, technology and e-filing support to Deloitte's U.S. and Region 10 offices as it relates to international tax compliance. The ITC Team establishes standard methodologies and procedures for completing IRS international tax forms for the U.S. international tax practice including the development and maintenance of all tools used in its tax compliance processes using a number of tax compliance software products. In addition, the ITC Team assists clients in re-engineering their ITC processes and methodologies to streamline ITC without adding significant staff or increasing training and technology. Responsibilitlies: - Provide tax technical and technology support to our U.S. and Region 10 offices with respect to InSource products used in the preparation of Forms 1118, 5471, 8858 and 8865. - Provide e-file support with respect to InSource and other compliance products for international tax forms, statements, elections and attachments. - Assist in the development of InSource training materials and user documentation; provide training on same to our U.S. and Region 10 offices. - Provide U.S. engagement team support for ITC proposals, project planning, implementation and project management for multinational clients. - Maintain and update InSource communication e-room and databases. - Assist in the development, maintenance, testing and delivery ITC Plus tools. - Assist in the development of efficient processes and methodologies for the preparation of international tax forms. - Coordinate and deliver Tax Technology training sessions (live and via Placeware).Deloitte's ITC Managers have in-depth, first-hand experience in a wide range of industries. They must be familiar with the ITC process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients' tax needs in today's changing tax and technology worlds. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work with our U.S. and Region 10 offices on a variety of ITC projects including proposals, project planning, implementation and project management phases including the development and delivery of training materials on the use of our ITC Plus methodologies using a variety of software products. They provide leadership in a timely manner and quality delivery of services to our U.S. and Region 10 offices as well as client engagements. ITC Managers are also responsible for the development and motivation of U.S. and Region 10 engagement team personnel and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven extensive technical and technology expertise and have developed their reputation within the ITC profession. ITC Manager Candidates must have: - Five or more years of general tax experience, preferably with at least 3 years focused on international taxation. - Three or more years of experience with InSource International is required. Experience with similar tax compliance software products is a plus. - Experience at a Big 4 firm or large corporate tax department, or experience in a tax software support environment or as a support representative of a major, tax compliance software, is required. - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Effective teaching and presentation skills, preferably in the tax technology area - Proven project management skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field. - Advanced degree in business, tax or information technology is preferred. - CPA preferred.
