Inventory Accountant Clerk

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The inventory accountant is responsible for daily invoice postings into the accounts payable system and resolving invoice & receipt discrepancies.  This person will also reconcile vendor balances and help with special projects as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

1.)  Education and/or Experience-

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

2.)  Language Skills-

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents according to company standards. 

 

3.) Mathematical Skills-

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent . Ability to interpret mathematical data and results.

 

4.)  Reasoning Ability-

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and  draw valid conclusions.
