Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees! Job Function: This position reports to the Plant Controller and is primarily responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory and product costing in the integrated database and the general ledger. Supervise employees accountable for inventory cycle counting. Responsible for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Packaging inventory counts, full physical and cycle counts. Reconciliation and reporting of inventory quantities and valuation in the integrated database and general ledger. Provide, Capture and Record cycle count and variance analysis Daily review and analysis of production order variances and miscellaneous inventory transactions and the adjustment of any resulting discrepancies. Work closely with Inventory Control, Operations, Logistics and Purchasing personnel to develop, document, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and physical inventory counts Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting required. Two (2) years experience in operations accounting in a manufacturing setting. Experience in process manufacturing and lot controlled environments are a plus. Strong working knowledge of computers. Excel and Access is essential, ERP accounting systems experience is desirable. Demonstrated ability in problem solving and reconciliation techniques.
