Inventory Control Analyst

Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that inventory data is accurately maintained company-wide.

Responsibilities: 

· Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy

· Work with Management to maintain and update policies and procedures for inventory management

· Develop and maintain meaningful reporting to management regarding inventory value and location

· Monitor adherence to policies regarding stocking levels set by management company-wide by using ABC analysis, EOQ calculations, or other accepted methods.

· Measure and report variance from recommended stocking levels 

· Manage the cycle counting process, including the determination of requirements, coordination of the personnel performing the counts, investigating discrepancies, and making adjustments when necessary

· Reconcile inventory between perpetual inventory records and general ledger balance daily

· Maintain warehouse/physical location database

· Assist in managing the periodic physical inventory process

· Work with purchasing and logistics to monitor the process for resolving discrepancies from field service technicians and call center agents

· Periodically perform unplanned counts of warehouses company-wide

Skills/ Requirements: 

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience

· Minimum of 3 years within operations, inventory control and materials management field

· Previous experience in analysis capacity, working with inventory preferred

· Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Excel and Word

· Previous experience with Great Plains software preferred

· Must be willing to travel 10-20% of the time
