Investment Accounting and Tax Manager

Q&A Recruiting has partnered with a Family office that is looking for an Investment Accounting and Tax Manager who will be responsible for: § Accounting and reporting for investments and cash disbursements for approximately 100 entities and individuals § Investment performance measurement and reporting.§ Foundation grant making and contribution measurement and reporting.§ Liquidity measurement and reporting.§ Monitoring risk management and other internal controls and procedures.§ Valuing illiquid investments.§ Tax compliance with respect to approximately 100 entities / individuals with the assistance of an outside CPA firm as needed (federal / state; income / property / franchise / business use; personal / trust / partnership / corporate/ foundation).  § Development of tax policies.§ Reconciliation of bank, brokerage and managed account statements.§ Creating operating budgets and forecasting procedures.  This company offers: § High visibility, position reports to the CFO§ Team environment§ Good work/life balance   Requirements: § CPA with at least 7 years accounting and tax experience§ At least 2 years experience in an investment firm, family office, and/or dealing closely with high net worth individuals§ Private foundation accounting/tax experience a plus§ Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) experience a plus§ Fluency in a foreign language a plus  Company: Q & A Financial Recruiting Location: US-TX-Dallas Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Contact Name: Becky Villa Email: Apply by Email
