Library Assistant

Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a full-time Library Assistant to provide reference and circulation services during the weeknights and weekends. This position also performs acquisition and circulation activities; maintains automated library system, assists in library collection and facilities maintenance, and supervises work-study students.  This position requires post high school vocational/specialized training, college graduate preferred; some college recommended.  A minimum of 1 year of previous library experience is desired. Must be physically able to lift bound volumes and reach high and low shelves. Computer literacy and proficiency, good communications and interpersonal skills with strong service and detail orientation is required. Schedule hours are Saturday and Sunday from 12–8 PM and Monday-Wednesday from 2-10PM.
