MEDICAL BILLER / ONSITE LIAISON

Medical Biller needed for PT position that will become FT position in Yonkers.  Must have hospital or physician billing background, experience with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial insurance, EOB's & RA's.  Must have minimum 1 year experience with profee & facility charges on 1500's and UB's.  Knowledge of SSI system very helpful. This position is onsite with the client and is a full time position with excellent benefits including med/dental/401k and more.Please apply online at www.osi-careers.com or call 888-576-4100 We are an AA/EOE/Drug free workplace The On-Site Liaison represents the company at the client site.  Position is responsible for coordinating medical billing accounts between the client and the office assigned to work the accounts.  The liaison will secure information, records, and other documents as requested by and transfer same in a confidential manner to the requesting individual.  The Liaison may also work to secure payment on past due accounts.  Individual must build rapport over the telephone and in person, presenting information in a professional and accurate manner.  Incumbent must follow all company and customer work standards and must meet performance criteria to include assigned goals.  Incumbent must exercise tact and sound judgment.  Work is performed within clearly defined areas of regulations and procedures, and is generally reviewed.  Some travel may be required. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: ·High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Preferred ·Prior customer service and/or medical office/hospital experience ·Data entry skills ·Excellent communication skills - speaking and listening ·Excellent organizational and multi-taskign skill   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following: ·Present information clearly and concisely to consumers/clients/and internal customers ·Document accounts quickly and accurately ·Build rapport over the telephone ·Interact well with others, showing respect for feelings and viewpoints ·Probe facts, analyzes issues and makes systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information ·Utilize established procedures to process paperwork, bills, and other documents in the most expedient manner. ·Secure information to make health insurance billing as appropriate. ·Secure information to make adjustments, trace payments or change entity data as necessary. ·Follow up on contacts. ·Maintain productivity requirements. ·Respond to written correspondence as required. ·Respond to requests for information. ·Protect all client consumer information used during collection efforts in accordance with company confidentiality policies and comply with Corporate Information Security Policies and Procedures.·Other duties as assigned.
