Our client is seeking an individual with 2-7 years of total business experience and at least one year of management consulting experience – ideally with a tier one / big four firm. Our client’s management consulting practice is experiencing tremendous growth and this particular engagement provides a great opportunity to work with the senior managing consultant to grow the Denver practice. We are ideally looking for candidates that have a background in the disciplines listed below, but we are also looking at candidates that have a Big 4 or Consulting background that may not have the exact background, but are looking to learn and grow in these areas.
Our client’s Process Modeling Associates are involved in the design and implementation of business process management solutions. While our client has a proven process mapping and integration approach, their Associates must by dynamic in response to the specific needs of the engagement at hand. As this engagement’s focus is the documentation and design of business processes and their association with underlying enterprise systems, Associates must be comfortable bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of business process documentation experience for a large client or company and has worked on large, dynamic projects with various business functions across the enterprise. The candidate has incredibly strong attention to detail and is able to quickly process complex business processes at both the macro and micro level. This individual will be relied upon heavily during facilitated sessions and will be expected to work independently at times to propose new ideas and perspectives to improve the client’s business processes and procedures. SAP experience is a plus.
Associates will be responsible for generating high quality deliverables and will, in some instances, be responsible for project management tasks. Additional responsibilities include identifying business requirements, managing catalogued requirements, creating functional designs, prototyping processes, generating and refining process designs, performing testing, developing training materials, defining support procedures and supporting cross-functional process integration.
Associates must have the following management/strategy capabilities and technical skills.
· Business process documentation experience working with Microsoft Visio or other business process modeling software
· Possess strong understanding of software development methodologies (RUP, Agile or other SDLC)
· Experience in documenting standard operating procedures, participating in process reviews and awareness of quality functions
· Awareness of Six Sigma, other process improvement techniques and change management procedures is desired
· Ability to work independently and manage parts of large engagements
· Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
· Ability to present to senior executives and work directly with client staff
Education:
· Business or IS undergraduate degree with 2-7 years of total experience
